descriptionLegacy Wire’s aluminum MHF (Mobile Home Feeder) cable is purpose-built to deliver permanent electrical service from the utility disconnect to the main distribution panelboard in mobile and manufactured home applications. Constructed with four AA-8000 series aluminum alloy conductors insulated with triple-rated XLPE, it is approved for direct burial and rated for 600V at 90°C in wet, dry, and underground locations — providing a code-compliant, all-weather solution for the final connection to the home.

applicationsMHF cable is intended for the connection of mobile homes to a supply of electricity where permanent wiring is required, as specified in the National Electrical Code. It is the standard feeder cable for runs from the utility meter base or secondary disconnect to the main distribution panel in mobile, modular, and manufactured homes. Suitable for use in dry, wet, and underground environments. The triple-rated XLPE insulation (USE-2/RHH/RHW-2) also makes it appropriate for subpanel feeds in outbuildings, detached garages, and light commercial structures where a four-wire, direct-burial-rated feeder is required. Rated for direct burial in earth at conductor temperatures not to exceed 90°C at 600 volts.
