APPLICATIONSSER is used to convey power from the service drop to the meter base and from the meter base to the distribution panelboard. It may be used in other branch circuits, feeders, or any application where Type SE cable is permitted by the NEC. Common installations include main panel feeds and subpanel feeds for residential, multi-family, and light commercial buildings, as well as power distribution to HVAC systems, electric water heaters, and other high-load appliances. Rated 600V, not to exceed 90°C in wet or dry locations.
